Hey Wong Yukhei, Hey now we'll be okay. // w.lc
Meeting Lucas isn't exciting as it used to be. Both of you were deeply in love before, but due to his tight schedule, the two of you decided to end your 5 year relationship.
Who asked for the break-up? Not him.
To others, the reason may come out as petty, however, it affected you so much. He was nowhere to be seen when you were having life hard, he was completely missing in action. Where was he? Choose one: the company, practicing, not with you.
Lucas loved you, he loves being an idol too. But being an entertainer came with a price. You.
"What are you doing here?" You were the first one to break the 10 minute silence.
You heard him clear his throat, "I should be the one asking you that, (y/n). The fuck you're doing here?"
He looked at you with a piercing gaze. An eyebrow raised and his mouth formed a frown.
"Having a blind date, obviously."
"Oh. Same."
You cursed internally, confused as to why Lucas is your date. The very Wong Lucas.
"Can you please leave? My date will be arriving-"
"But I'm your date." He cut you off.
"We broke up like, a year ago. I've moved on." You reasoned out when in fact, you haven't.
"A year should be enough for you to decide that that break-up was a mistake."
"Yeah." You spoke mindlessly.
Your heart started beating fast, raising your head to look at him only to meet Lucas' wide, shocked, expectant, hopeful eyes.
"Wait! I mean-!"
His frown from earlier turned into a smile. The smile you haven't seen in a long time.
He stood up and dragged the chair next to you, "I've learned a lot the past years. Can't we act as if that one year never happened? I swear, this time, now--"
"Hey, Wong Yukhei!" You tried to cut him off. He was speaking a little too fast in korean mixed with mandarin.
"-- we'll be okay." He finished.
