Poor Ford. Not exactly what's happening in chapter 9, but I was looking for a pose reference and came across this one and immediately thought it fit with their dynamic lol

I know it's a bit early to ask, and if it so - I don't mind waiting for response when it'll be safe to reply, but: how would him knowing about it would change the plot?

(Will be touching on Ch 12 Extra Hortum spoilers though so under the cut it goes!)
It basically just boils down to him not falling for the trap in the first place.
Zeph would be able to supply him with a timeline of when he dissappeared, so he'd be able to plan accordingly.
He'd either go a different way of tracking the guy down (something I don't have the brain power to think of atm), or he'd go the route Serra takes and gives his name to Stan as a precaution so that he can't be bound by anyone else. Therefore making it so that Extra Hortum never even needs to happen.
If he went the name route, Stan's command would be so vague that Jimmy's basically only bound by name and still could do whatever the fuck he wanted. And after releasing him, Jimmy would insist on paying him back for helping cause ya know, Fae rules. Stan would just ask for the bell back cause he'd grown attached to it and was kinda pissed it was gone. Lol
(Also I put Paca through the ringer so much I almost feel bad. Almost. He's a little shit and I love him.)

New fic in the Ex Undis series!
I wanted to explore possible problems that would have arisen with Stan's memories after Bill altered them but also wanted to do more with my Fae characters (both Jimmy and the twig twins). So I figured why not combine the ideas into one!
My nymph twins are making a comeback in the new Ex Undis wip that I've been working on (working title is "Per Hortum, Mors Vincit Omnia"), so I figured I'd provide some info on their personalities :D
Paca
Is based on the "Ilex Opaca" which is an American holly plant.
He has a strong dislike towards humans, is quick to take the offensive, and extremely protective of his sister.
He looks up to Jimmy, almost an obsessive amount, and wants to follow in the gremlin's footsteps down to even the style of clothing. Instead of the snakes Jimmy has on his jacket vest, Paca embroidered the tree of life on the back of his (however there is a small snake patch on the front of the jacket).
His fighting style also copies Jimmy's, except with the use of nature instead of machinery, so he relies a lot on his magic and tends to slip out of his human form quite easily when something sets him on edge.
Eventually warms up to Ford.
Serra
Is based on the "Ilex Serrata" which is a Japanese holly plant.
She is much more outgoing, is fascinated by human culture, and is very smart.
She isn't more trusting of humans persay, but she believes that if she was able to blend in better that she and her brother wouldn't have been kidnapped. So she learns all that she can and is now able to interact without giving herself away as Fae.
Her fighting style focuses on the use of weaponry. She carries around a small stick off her birth plant that she then uses her magic on to form a weapon of choice, of which majority of the time forms into a katana. She's able to hold her human form better than her brother, but they look nearly identical when it completely drops.
Takes to Stan rather quickly.
(The Journey shirt is a reference to when Mable sings "Don't start unbelieving" in the show.)
