It is absolutely imperative that some people not be allowed to work with the opposite gender when the job involves serious topics and some degree of persuasion.

Sometimes I wonder if I still love him a little. Maybe it’s just the idea of him. Maybe it’s an idealized version preserved in my memory.

I’ve asked myself if I’ll even have that answer until I find someone else.

I guess moving on really is acceptance rather than forgetting.

You know, I gave myself a lot of flack a couple years ago for allowing a person to be the reason I could get through my work week without getting depressed about sitting in an office for 40+ hours, but do you know what? 

Having somebody that you look forward to seeing is a whole lot better than nothing.

Hi. I had a crush and we got shipped for a lot of times. Then, I got a petition to the US and I have to leave in a year. I'm now in US. Now, I wanted to confess to my ex-crush that I liked him before. I'm liking somebody else, and I wanted to confess to him at the end of the next school year. Should I confess to my ex-crush & confess to my new crush end of the next school year or should I confess by now?

I’m not really sure what the point is of confessing to someone that you used to have a crush on them. If you’re friends and it comes up casually later on in life, like “haha, when were were in high school I had such a crush on you, isn’t that crazy?”, then sure. But the fact that you’re calling it a ‘confession’ suggests that this would be an emotionally charged event for you, and I’m just not sure why it’s necessary. Not all crushes need to be revealed. If you don’t like him any more, why does he need to know how you used to feel? What difference would that make to your lives?

I’m also not really sure what the point is of waiting to tell someone you like them until the end of a school year. You might not be ready to share your feelings right now, and that’s fine, but I don’t think you need to put a time limit on it. If you feel like you want to tell him how you feel now, you don’t need to wait until the end of the school year to tell him. If you don’t want to tell him how you feel now, you don’t need to force yourself to do it at the end of the school year if you’re still not ready. 

If the end of the school year turns out to be the perfect time to share how you feel, then that’s fine, go for it. Just allow yourself the flexibility to tell someone how you feel when it feels right, not when you told yourself that you should.
