#exalted third edition

I’m just posting here to see if anybody still knows or cares about Exalted. Cuz I have things to share and don’t know other people who’d be interested ^^;

Kalder is best known for soothing complications among the staff; His easy going manner, smooth and charming voice, immaculate knowledge of societal mores has made him the facultys most beloved member.

As for Kalder himself, the only thing he really wants, is to be free of his families controlling grasp; He wants to paint, sculpt, even sew, but the family demands a warrior.

Under Headmaster Desotto, Kalder sees a future where he can pursue his artistic desires as far as wanted.

As such, his dedication to keeping the school running is adamant, and impressive.

This morning I had friends ask me how I'd do Malenia, Blade of Miquella, in RPGs. I imagine they though I'd answer in D&D, because I do master Spelljammer & Planescape for them. They got an Exalted Essence answer one instead. Infernal with a Solar brother, for the record.

This might be one of my favorite commissions ever, done by @mooreaux! This is my Midnight Caste Abyssal Exalted from Exalted, her title is the Keeper of the Raven Promise!

I’d gotten a commission of her before and then had ideas for various artifacts she had and really wanted to give it another level of detail, and it came out really well! I am still SO over the moon about this, I could stare at it for days.

Exalted Edition Recommendation?

Hey everyone, I'm looking to get into Exalted but the variety of editions/books is pretty intimidating.. Any advice on which edition / books to start with?

If it helps I'm far more interested in lore / theoretical character creation than gameplay, as I doubt I'll be playing any time soon...

Tomorrow, I’m going to run a very unusual session of Exalted. 

The PCs are lost on a strange, empty ocean, with only a vague destination to aim for and a handful of rescued prisoners for a crew. Something is preventing them from regaining Essence or Willpower, and it could be weeks or months before their trial is over. The challenge is one of endurance, both physical and psychological, as they attempt their crossing under starless skies and try to discover what strange fate has befallen them. 

I’m hoping to resolve the whole voyage in a single session, which has required me to do a lot of unusual planning. The trick is going to be keeping the pacing fast by focusing on quick vignettes to convey the passing of time, making sure the players understand the actions they can take at any given stage, and focusing on the resource-management angle instead of on any one challenge.

I think I’ve got enough prep to see me through this. I’ll post again tomorrow or the next day to let you know how it all went.
