Last exam tomorrow. I hope it won't be cancelled last minute due to Covid 19 but our professor told us to check before coming all the way to uni...
That leaves me with a feeling of uncertainty. I just hope I can take that exam tomorrow and just be done with it. We'll just have to see!

My thoughts on AQA Chemistry (Triple Science, Higher Tier) Paper 2 - 13/06/18
I thought this was such a good paper! Really, there wasn’t a single thing that came up i couldn’t answer. Sure I probably dropped a couple of marks for not enough detail etc but all in all I thought I did pretty well!
Other than the methylated spirit question, I can’t think of anything to laugh about either.

My thoughts on the Edexcel Maths (Higher Tier) Paper 1 - 24/05/18
Wow.
Wow. I don’t actually think I failed.
Ok, so I’m really happy with this exam! I didn’t find any questions which I just didn’t know how to do so that’s a good sign! And, a majority of the time, I either did the same as everyone else, or made a stupid little error.
Even the last question, which is usually downright nasty, went quite well. I didn’t get the right answer in the end unfortunately (silly mistake!!) and I did a couple of other things wrong throughout the paper when it came to giving the final answer, but other than that, I’d say I got a pretty decent score!
One thing I must rant about on here is the fact that I, somehow, after checking it THREE TIMES, managed to write that 36/4 = 8.
It. It’s not 8. It’s 9.
I’m an idiot ☹️

My thoughts on the AQA Geography Paper 1 - 22/05/18
Gah, doing two of these in one day...
Anyways, the only thing I really have to say about this exam is that my time management has never been so... awful.
I’ve always finished Geography exams with around 5 minutes left to check. However, as usual, I did the two 9 markers first and then looked up at the clock and realised I’d spent half an hour on that 😬 so I had to zoom through the paper and finished with about 2 minutes to do all the one markers I had to skip. Somehow I managed to go back and check the formation of Ox-bow lake question which I’d somehow managed to get totally wrong??
So other than timing stressing me out the entire exam, I’d say it was pretty good. There weren’t really any questions that I did not know. So, I’m happy with this one :)

My thoughts on the AQA Literature Paper 2 - 25/05/18
(Note: I studied “DNA” and the Power & Conflict poetry anthology)
Ahsjdjdshdjajsjfksk.
It went better than I thought it would! The question for DNA was between Cathy and the theme of gangs. I went with gangs because I felt there was more I could write about for it??
With the Power & Conflict poetry comparison, I was a bit bummed I couldn’t write about “Remains” (I have basically that entire poem memorised), but in the end I went with comparing “Ozymandias” with “My Last Duchess”.
Also... what the hell was that unseen poem? BOTH unseen poems were just...
Honestly, I reckon the people at AQA who make that question have a Little game each year of “who can find the stupidest poem”.
What did you guys think? I’m just relieved I NEVER have to do Literature again in my life!!

MY THOUGHTS ON AQA BIOLOGY PAPER 2 - 11/06/18
I thought it was a pretty good exam! The lemurs question gave me a good laugh (let’s ignore the fact I wrote that they swim 😂).
I can’t really think of any other questions I got stuck on. They didn’t ask about protein synthesis, classification or the eye/brain in great detail so I was happy about that :D
Of course, AQA being AQA, there were a lot of funny questions.
