Watch it? Man, this might be one of my least favorite episodes. It's uncomfortable, icky, kinda racist, and somehow also boring. So no, skip it.

But in all honesty, the way Mulder is written in this episode feels frustratingly out of character to me.
He’s always the believer, never the skeptic, except when a woman says she was assaulted? 🤨 Fuck that. Not a good look on our boy. I hate that they wrote it that way.
I always hate the trope of the male law enforcement officer doubting the claims of a female assault survivor. But ESPECIALLY in this case.
Moral of this story: BELIEVE WOMEN.
