Hot take: any professional journalist/news organization that discusses Palestinian suffering and death and doesn’t mention
-the fact that Hamas still has enough fuel to run their tunnels and fire their rockets
-the fact that many of these rockets misfire and kill civilians in Gaza
-the fact that many countries and organizations, including Egypt and the UN, refused to help civilians flee the war zone under the guise of opposing forced displacement
-the fact that Hamas refuses to allow civilians to take shelter in the many miles of tunnels they still have
-the verifiable fact that Hamas steals humanitarian aid
-the verifiable fact that Hamas stores weapons in and operates out of what should be safe zones, legally rendering them military targets
Is siding with Hamas in their propaganda war.
If you are discussing a humanitarian suffering, knowing that an organization is deliberately causing or prolonging that suffering for their own purposes, and several others are enabling them, and much of your audience doesn’t know this, and you don’t mention it?!?!?
You are complicit in cynically using that suffering for propaganda.
You clearly don’t care about helping the people who are suffering, because you can’t solve a crisis while ignoring major factors of its existence.
