I'm having a bad day so I almost wrote a fic in which 9x13 happens differently and Buck is reunited with Bobby and he has to chose between staying there and going back... It would have been a MCD fic. Anyway you're all lucky I don't even have the strength to write even a paragraph 😔

Bobby would’ve loved Theo so much I hate that he’s stuck in that lab

Thinking about Buck telling Theo story after story about Bobby. Partly because he’s trying to keep his memory alive, but also because he just misses him. So much. And Theo constantly reminds Buck of Bobby. Not just of their relationship, but of Bobby himself. Like they could be related. He tells Theo about how brave and strong Bobby was, but also makes sure Theo knows how kind-hearted and empathetic he was.

And it’s not long before Theo starts asking for more stories about Grandpa Bobby. And Buck, and the team, are more than happy to oblige.
