Hi! Newly diagnosed and still learning :) just wondering if it’s common for adhd to sometimes get verbal diarrhea. Like sometimes I share way too much with people I don’t want to, but it’s like I can’t stop myself. It’s either once I start talking I spew everything I know about the subject or i start talking to fill the silence because of my anxiety.

Yes that’s pretty common. It’s a combination of impulsivity and the “talking too much” hyperactive symptom. -C

Hey I’m wondering, can talking like way too much be an adhd thing? Like I always find myself having conversations where I’m talking like 80% of the time or I’ll use way more words to explain something than is usually needed and idk if the fact I have adhd explains that?

Yes that is definitely an ADHD thing. Talking too much is a very common symptom. -C
