Excessive packaging much @amazon ? I DO understand why @amazon packs with large boxes. I get it. Modularity is a factor as well as weigh to deliver fast but putting a thin cardboard mailer inside a box that is easily almost 5 cubic feet is a bit much. Last week had a box of cat litter shipped in a similar box arrive and as the interior box weighed 20lbs it busted open the "outer" packing box. This was odd too since I have received the car litter before just in it's original box only and with simply a shipping label slapped on it. The record was a pre-order so not sure why not simply shipped in the mailer it was already in. There was weeks of lead time so did not to go overnight...
