The little story of Urara
My name is Urara.
The kasugai crow of the Love Hashira, or now the former, Lady Kanroji Mitsuri.
I was assigned to assist Lady Kanroji for her mission or announcing important news from Lord Ubayashiki. I also act as a guard for her to certain location.
At least i once were. Aside from official task, i was a bridge between Lady Kanroji and her close acquaintance, Lord Iguro, the serpent hashira. They were always exchanging letters. Aside that, biweekly, Lady Kanroji didn't forgot to write letters for her family too. I'm gladly sending it, all them are nice people.
Lady Kanroji always feel sorry to me because she said i always help her doing stuff outside of the official job but to be honest i don't mind. I like Lady Kanroji, she was the brightest slayer that i had ever assigned for. She always give me high quality worm for me to eat and make me feel fabulous with all the decorations.
As i was close to Lord iguro too, i met his kasugai crow often, oh, and also the snake kaburamaru. Like their owner, both of them look intimidating the first time we met so i was quite nervous. However over time we kind of close and become friend with each other. Lady Kanroji and Lord iguro didn't know this, but we often talking about them when three of us meet.
I love sending letters to Lord iguro, i often being treat high quality meal from both of them. They look so cozy when they are together that sometimes i feel a bit jealous.
Sometimes i wait for Lady Kanroji to finish writing her letters. She's humming excitedly everytime she wrote and it's make me happy. Her handwriting was so neat, the letters was folded beautifully and smell nice too.
However my final task wasn't my favourite. It's not an exchanging letters. It was a heartbreaking announcement that i need to inform her family. When the kakushi helping and preparing Lady Kanroji and Lord Iguro for their eternal departure, i was called. It was a call that i used to hear when i was assigned of the late Lord Ogata, my former slayer before he died in his mission. I don't like it. I never used to it.
Now that i retired and the corps disband, sometimes, i miss to do the task. I hope i can meet them somewhere again. Still, i met kaburamaru and Lord Iguro's crow once in a while. Kaburamaru were in a care of Lady kanao while his crow, seem to start his own family.
Lady Kanroji, i want to meet you again! It's an honor to serve you.
