Recorded vocals for "Lights! Camera! Attraction!!!"_day 370_LP1_this song will be the introduction track to the album I'm working on. This is gonna be one of those songs I'm keeping to myself (sorry mom) until the album release because I really want to surprise everyone with this piece. Young love begins with attraction, with that first crush. I wanted to encapsulate that moment with a song that's just as surprising and exciting and nerve wrecking and all-together wonderful. Something simple yet grandiose. I'll tell ya, writing this song, creating the music, took several attempts before I FINALLY got something that shook me with joy. I spent several months on and off this piece, trying to create something that my whole self could scream "YES" to. On top of that, the performance I have to give is really stretching the boundaries of what my voice can do, and it's really hard to do that AND make it sound as beautiful as I hear it in my head. It is SO HARD to make. (I'm not using any pitch correction or auto-tune on this record btw, wanna keep it all natural soundin'.) But I hope when you hear this piece, along with the rest of the record, you'll see that this.
