Things you probably didn't know in Soul Eater

Remember Eibon? Most powerful Sorcerer and one of the 5 Great Old Ones? And the most intelligent being in the series to date? The real individual behind the blueprints of the demon weapons?

Did you know he had long hair? No? Well he does. It's the only known fact about him under his armor. Chapter 16 shows us this.

Well, did you know he was a pervert too? According to chapter 73 in the official yen press translation, when Liz as a male guessed he was the type of pervert who like watching waitresses "go commando" based on the Book of Eibon's format of Lust  being before Gluttony, the Index confirms it.

In addition, we learn that perhaps he cannot stand Excalibur's personality. It should be noted that in Chapter 99 apparently (cannot confirm for now), Death noted he created the demon weapon based upon Excalibur, though denied it. We also learn back in Chapter 73 the Index appearance is based off Excalibur (and the creature on his shoulder, in which could be the Index or his familiar like some witches have) .

 Though the Index notes the difference.

Perhaps by taking The Index's nose and turning it down a notch, it shows that Eibon finds inspiration in Excalibur but cannot take his obnoxious and prideful nature so much he wishes to take his ego (the nose) and "take it down a notch".
