COLLA3ORATE releases “Oh! My Mistake″

base’s COLLA3ORATE project has released their latest special single today. “Oh! My MIstake” is the first single released under Gold Star Media’s executive production. “Oh! My Mistake” uses a retro synthwave-inspired sound to deliver its brightly confident lyrics. Element’s Sun is credited as a partial lyricist, partial composer, and partial producer of the song. The project group includes WISH’s Sophie, Silhouette’s Sooah, Gal.actic’s Yena, 7ROPHY’s Eunah, and Element’s Yujin.

Element’s Sun and WISH’s Sophie star in CF for Gongcha

Bubble tea brand Gongcha has released a new commercial today for their mango yogurt drink, featuring idols WISH’s Sophie and Element’s Sun. Although both coming to be known for their CF work, having each released commercials in the recent months, this is the idols’ first public project together.

In the CF, the pair play as personifications of mango and yogurt, who come together to make a delicious beverage. As dancers of their groups, the two show off their skill in a cute dance symbolizing the pairing of their flavors.

WISH’s Sophie and CHARM’s Hyunsoo star in CF for Fanta

Carbonated drink brand Fanta has released a new commercial today aimed at the Korean market. WISH’s Sophie and CHARM’s Hyunsoo star alongside each other in the charming commercial. Known as the youngest groups under BC Entertainment and debuting in the same year, WISH and CHARM have been called by some the youthful youngest siblings of BC Entertainment.

In the CF, Sophie and Hyunsoo take on the role of bright friends drinking Fanta at a bowling alley. The commercial features bright colors and endless energy reminiscent of the popular fruit-flavored soda and a statement from the company claimed the commercial and pairing are supposed to represent the image of being more energizing with other people.

Sophie and Yul release BC Portal song “SoulMate″

"SoulMate”, featuring the vocals of WISH’s Sophie and Unity’s Yul, is the most recent song to be released through BC for the Portal digital music project. The song is Sophie’s first musical release outside of her group while Yul made his solo debut at the end of last year with his mini-album 4:01AM. “SoulMate” is a laid back jazzy track with hop hop influences. Lyrically, the song tells of a pair of soulmates while the music video plays with associated themes of strings of fate and mirror images commonly tied to the titular concept. Fuse’s Minjung is credited as the lyricist for the track.

Footwear and apparel company Reebok has announced that WISH’s member Sophie Jung will be representing the brand as their new face for the next three months. It’s Sophie’s first time working as a brand ambassador by herself, while WISH are currently the face of Pocari‌ Sweat,‌ Estée Lauder and MLB‌‌ Korea.

A campaign film has been released featuring Sophie wearing Reebok’s Classic Club C, with a Back to the 90s concept. In a press release, the brand expressed their satisfaction with the endorsement, claiming Sophie fits the youthful image of the campaign very well.

WISH’s Sophie stars in CF for Animal Crossing New Horizons

A new commercial for the Nintendo Switch game Animal Crossing New Horizons has been released starring WISH’s Sophie. The new commercial is Sophie’s first ever solo CF since WISH’s 2015 debut.

In the CF, Sophie spends time at home playing Animal Crossing New Horizons, peacefully exploring her island and talking to herself as she plays. By the end of the commercial, day has turned to night both outside and in the game, showcasing the game’s real time feature and its relaxing atmosphere.

[NEWS] WISH’s Sophie to join main cast of “Don’t Be Jealous”

MBC has confirmed the casting of WISH’s Sophie as one of the five on the panel of hosts on their upcoming variety show Don’t Be Jealous. Don’t Be Jealous has been described as a dating reality show showcasing the lives of real life celebrity couples in their day to day lives. Sophie and her fellow hosts will provide commentary on the footage of the couples.

This will be Sophie’s first gig as a main cast member of a variety show since debut. Don’t Be Jealous will begin airing on August 10 on MBC.
