Every 7 days out of 8, I jog two and a half or three miles. I’m going for regularity, not distance, and this seems about what I can maintain without burning out. it didn’t occur to me until recently to jog to music, and when it finally did, I couldn’t think of much that I would actually WANT to hear while running. It would need to be hypnotic, the songs would need to be long, and I’d want the entire playlist to have a gradual crescendo, with occasional bursts of energy for short lengths of sprinting. I realized my vision was awful specific, so decided to record my own damn jogging music! If you’re also a runner, maybe try it out, and if not, perhaps you’ll still find it some enjoyable background music, or something to keep you energized during a task.
