Witch’s Butter comes in black too! This is Exidia glandulosa.
(The two are in entirely different classes, they just share similar common names)

Warziger Drüsling, Exidia nigricans spore print…(bad focus on spores🥲)
Epping Forest, London, UK, January 2020
White brain fungus (Exidia thuretiana)
Like a lot of jelly fungi, E. thurentiana is excellent at surviving dry weather - without moisture, it will wither to almost nothing, leaving just a transparent, slightly rubbery patch on the wood on white it grows, only to rehydrate to its previous wet, gelatinous form with the next rain, seemingly completely unharmed.
Warlocks's Butter, Exidia nigricans (by me)
@letsgetplnty ok, it turns out im very not up to date with fungi Auricularia had been separate from the Exidia grouping for quite some time, I apologize. Though this now makes me feel old.
Anywho, Im pretty sure that these were new fruiting basidiocarps of the fungus A. auricula-judae (Judus wood ear)
also with what ive been telling you about Exidia, the truth does still remain that they are extremely close relatives.
