I've repeatedly tried to come out to my parents as bisexual. The first time, my Father laughed and said "that's going in the wedding speech" and any time I allude to it I get an awkward cough or a little giggle. They're not homophobic, they just genuinely don't believe me. One day I'll bring a girl home and then I SHALL DO THE LAUGHING.

My dad asked me once if I'm gay because I'm the vice president of the Rainbow Club at my college and I just shrugged and he said, "It doesn't make a difference to me either way." And that was all that was said on the matter.

But I don't like when peoples' parents brush it under the rug. I tried to hint at my brother's situation to my dad and his only response was, "I don't think that's going to solve his problems."

I don't know, I don't like to see anyone going through difficulties and ignorance for being who they are. Also, I love you, Kinsman <3
