SOMEHOW an unpopular take but poppy beifong was an absolutely terrible mother, 0/10, do not pass go, she sounds like the assholes who say the devil stole their child and still uses their deadname, disabled doesn't equal your personal barbie doll, cool motive still emotional abuse

Sexuality headcanon: i think she’s bi with a higher preference for women. tenzin was the only man she’s ever loved, and i can see her dating some girls before they got together, but she’s sworn off romance entirely since their breakup, for better or for worse. maaaaybe she could start putting herself out there again now that she’s started to work through those issues.

Gender headcanon: i don’t have any firm headcanons, but i think trans lin could add some interesting shades to her character

A ship I have with said character: yeah it’s typical but kya/lin

A BROTP I have with said character: MAKO. SUYIN. KORRA. also i just imagined her and bumi as friends and i love it.

A NOTP I have with said character: linzin is more interesting than pemzin but they just Are Not Compatible.

A random headcanon: i’ve definitely said this before but i love the headcanon that she’s always been super close with zuko! elements of their backgrounds are similar and i feel like she could go to him with questions and conversations she couldn’t have with toph.

General opinion over said character: I LOVE U........ one of my favorite characters overall in both shows, she deserves a whole comic trilogy just about her life

three of the most major characters are two seperate undead turnip farmers, and wei wuxian’s son who was planted like a turnip then grew up taall and strong

two undead turnip farmers! what a TREAT

i Did Know about wwx’s adopted son getting teased about being planted like a turnip, as it’s related to the one (1) piece of mdzs art i’ve done, but i didn’t know it existed in the larger context of turnip farming, which makes it even more charming
