The battle is Yours, Lord. Fight for me. Have you ever been into a battle wherein the only weapon you have is yourself? Perhaps, you have poured out all your “physical skills” or your “mana level” or maybe you have used your “shield armor” out already yet here you are --- still wounded and battling.
Here’s a good story about King Jehosaphat from 2 Chronicles 20. The king heard there’s an upcoming war that knew to himself, he can’t win over but then, in the end, his army won.
And here's two things he did:
Acknowledged that he needs God’s help.
Listened to what the Lord said and trusted that the battle isn’t his to fight but of God’s.
Beloved, there is freedom in surrendering your battles to the Lord. Raising your white flag doesn’t portray your weakness over the battle, it only reflects how much you trust the Lord’s grace to reach you out in the darkness, to save you and make you feel that you are not alone in this battle.
God doesn’t allow pain to be wasted, it always comes with a purpose. Let Him fight for you. Let Him take over this battle for you. You are not alone. You are loved.
“The Lord will fight for you, you only need to be still.” - Exodus 14:14
