The DUMBEST THING YOU'VE EVER HEARD SOMEONE SAY IN REAL LIFE EVER?

JAIDEN AND I WERE PLAYING POKER AND CATCHPHRASE AND SHE CALLED A CHEESEBURGER A CHEESE HAMBURGER AND IT TOOK US BOTH A SECOND TO CATCH IT AND IT WAS GREAT

Are you out to your parents and friends? If so, how did you tell them?

Yes! I am out to my parents and friends, but not to my extended family (Grandparents, aunts, uncles, etc). 

I was actually in Scheels when I came out to my mom. We were going to go to Florida for a Christmas present and wanted to get new suits. I wanted to get some trunks and she thought it was because I had scars on my thighs. When I told her no, and she asked why then, I told her that I “think Im gender-neutral” because I didn't really associate with any gender. I now associate myself as genderfluid. I also decided that if I was gonna tell her that then I might as well tell her I was bisexual as well, which I later figured that I was actually pansexual. My sister had already known about my sexuality so this wasn't a surprise. 

A few days or maybe a week later, I told my dad because I didn't want him hearing from my mom and not me. He said that he doesn’t care who I like but that he “watched me come out of your mother and I can confirm that you’re a girl. You might feel more tomboyish or girly on some days but you’re a girl”. I then tried to explain to him the difference between gender and sex but it didn’t really work. 

We don’t really acknowledge my gender really. My mother tries to but still calls me she and my dad actually was really surprised a few weeks ago when I didn’t correct a cook for calling me “sir”. 

My friends, well I kind of never really directly came out to them. I just would get crushes on girls or whatever and they were fine with it! I’ve only REALLY come out, genderwise, to my friends Jaiden, and Zavier. 

I came out to Jai over the summer when we were at a band camp and I was introducing myself to people as Min. She asked me when I started using that name and I said for a while but that I didn’t really expect her to use it. I’ve been friends with her for as long as I can remember and didn’t want her to relearn because I know she loves me no matter what. It doesnt bother me if she just calls me Molly. 

With Zavier I came out to him a few months ago now, again genderwise. I think it was when he was sending some snapchat to someone and I asked him to use they instead of she. Either that or I explained it to him over text??? I dont remember exactly. Sorry Z, lmao.

All my other friends just kind of accept it. Every now and again I’ll find someone that I’m friends with who doesn’t know my pronouns so I’ll explain it but otherwise, 90% of my friends are queer in gender or sexuality, so I never really have to explain my crushes or anything to them!
