Frankly, I don't see why trans people cling so much to a strict binary. "Trans men are men so of course they benefit from the patriarchy" yeah, see, patriarchy states that gender is what you're born as, so I don't think you want to subscribe too much to the strict ruleset lest you wanna loop back around to "trans women are men trying to get back into women's spaces"

but i especially hate when someone starts joking as follows:

i hate that we pretend that it's just a silly joke, and not an active fucking death threat. i hate when it happens that a trans person said that, because they're supposed to be my sibling. i hate that often, it's said about trans mascs, and nonbinary people. i hate that anyone says this at all.

it's not funny if it's said about you, is it? and when people argue with you against a fucking death threat, you start going "oh, whiny little tboys/theyfabs/etc, fuck you". i hate that it's never serious.

why is it okay to wish death upon people? why is it okay to chase trans women off the site? why is it okay to joke about killing "tmes"? why the fuck is everyone just a transphobe?

I always knew tme/tma was bullshit as soon as I first heard about it but now it's becoming even more obvious that most people using it see tme as "not Actually trans" and tma as "acceptable trannies" and it's wild that they're still trying to pretend otherwise
