For someone who has never been much of a tea fan, I’ve been surprising myself constantly since I travelled to Zanzibar. When tge Maitre d’ insisted that I simply could not leave Zanzibar without trying a cup of their Chai, brewed with 13 spices. Ever since, I’ve been hooked on all types of spiced teas and this morning, we have Karak chai.... or a version of it. Since we have chilly morning’s ahead of us, this may just be the tea everyone should consider drinking. I must admit that though I’ve tried to duplicate it, I’ve yet to perfect it.
