The witch didn’t anticipate this at all, to be ambushed by a horde of monstrous canines. Their behavior were unusually aggressive as they immediately attacked her. 

Escaping was too much of a risk so she had no choice but to defend herself. Murelle may possess powerful lightning magic, but she was outnumbered and at this rate, they would eventually overwhelm her.

Mai didn’t understand why they were here. They had no need to be, and it didn’t really add anything to Azula’s mission to hunt down and eliminate the Avatar. But it was still better than being in Omashu, so she’d take what she could get in that regard. Still, she found herself bored as she wandered aimlessly through whatever little town it was that they’d stopped in for the day/night, to see if anyone had seen the Avatar.

Making her way through the club, Flora lost her friend who she came here with. The loud music vibrated her chest and she needed to catch a break before she ended up running into a creep. Hopefully her friend will be able to find her, or at least Flora can text her when she gets to the bar.

Making her way away from the loud, packed area, Flora asks if there are any seats available. Bring directed to a table, she takes a seat and they offer her a menu. Taking it, she scans over it as the attendant moves on to do other things. Reaching down, she takes her phone out to start typing out a text before she goes to read the menu and maybe get some food. It was quite late and she was getting hungry again.

summer was all about meeting new people and having a fun time - at least, that’s what it seemed to be in beach city. with an influx of tourists and visitors in the small town, it seemed like there was somebody new to meet every day in the summer months. 

so, naturally, when he spotted somebody new, he allowed his feet to pull him along, flashing a bright smile towards the stranger. “hi there! are you a tourist?”

------ The monster was not quite sure as to where she was. But here she still kept trekking along the edge of a steep, tall cliff overlooking a rough sea. The stars shone brightly above in the night sky, the moon light bathing her in its soft glow. Wherever her silver-clawed feet took her, she would follow. It looked to be as if there was no-one else around in this isolated place. That was fine with her.

------ She stopped a moment to watch the waves crash against the shore at the foot of the cliffs. How beautiful it was...and the moon’s reflection in the water...it gave her a feeling of peace, as though she could stay there for hours listening to the sound of the waves. After all, there was no-one else around for quite a few miles...right?
