My experience in the earthquake this september 19th 2017, Mexico.
Ok you probably know already what happened yesterday so if you take the time to read this i'll be very gratefull.
Yesterday, in the morning we got a little reminder of the earthquake in 1985, every year we make a earthquake drill that day (19th/september). I swear in my school every people take this like a joke and don't care to do it right, so, this time ocurred the same thing.
I still remeber the loud voice of my teacher saying that a earthquake isn't a joke.
Then, few hours later i was in my classroom, everything was normal and we never expected what is going to happen in any second...
When the earthquake began, and belive me, it was awfull, everyone in the classroom ran out to the school ground, the floor was moving and it was very difficult stand and walk to the safe place like in the drill.
Then, in the safe place, we went down to the floor everyone together, some people crying, others screaming of fair, i just stood in silence with the hand of one of my friends. The teachers were screaming very loudly the indications in case of earthquake and few of them were crying.
We stood there until the earthquake stopped.
Few minutes later, the parents of my classmates arrived for their children, of course very worried, my grandma arrived, i hug her so desesperately. I wanted to bring my backpack and my books to go home, but the people didn't give the chance to. They said: "anyone can step in the classrooms because it'll be dangerous".
Away of my school, in the car with my grandma (very scared) we went for my sister because she is in other grade in other school, when we arrived the police man told us: "you can't go with the car here because ....... fell"
I couldn't undestand the words that this man said but i freaked out so much worried for my sister that i started to cry
I ran for my sister when i saw that she was fine,
uuugh so awfull experience when you thought one of your family is injured or dead.
When we arrived to my grandma's home; i saw all stuff broke in the floor: vases, family photos ....
And we didn't have electricity until today.
One of my uncles was in there too, scared of course.
Everything was better, until we saw in internet all the houses and departaments that fell off, i couldn't sleep that much.
Today i am trying to talk to my friend to see if they are fine too.
Wish us luck people, Mexico will be fine ;)
Also thank you for read this and sorry for my bad english.
