When you're thinking to get into a relationship, see why that person is into you. If it is wealth or beauty or status, they're not permanent and there's always someone out there who's better than you in many terms. What then? Chances are that person might leave you. But, if you make God the standard of your relationship, you can be sure that God will take care of everything. Place everything into His hands and be there for each other. Pray for each other. God first loved us (1 John 4:19) so be the kind of partner who takes the first step in reconnecting your relationship. Remember, there shouldn't be any Ego in a relationship. What if God has Ego when it comes to forgive you. How many times have you failed him? Yet, he still Loves you the same and he's giving you another day to correct yourself. That's why, God has to be your standard. Amen.

I might have some personal interests but when I submit myself to the Lord, He will guide me in the right direction and places me where I'm supposed to be. Not where I want to be. This applies to my relationships too. I like a person but it doesn't mean God should approve my supplication. God sees the big picture. If he has someone else in store for me, I should obey. Let God's will be done.

If you want God's promises to come to pass in your Life, are you following God's commandments in your Life? What matters is your obedience towards God. God did everything he could to create a way for you to reach him. Now it's your turn to walk in his path.

God is our Deliverer

” …We went through fire and flood, but You brought us to a place of abundance” (Psalm 66:12, NLT).

In scripture, three Hebrew teenagers, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, were told to bow down to the king’s idol or they would be thrown into a fiery furnace. They said, “No, King. We’re not going to bow down. We know our God will deliver us.” Their attitude was, “We’re not worried about it. We know we have inside information. We know everything is going to be alright.” Notice they didn’t fight it. They weren’t upset. They weren’t complaining. They were at peace. They knew God Almighty had His hand upon them. The guards threw them into the fiery furnace, and when all was said and done, they came out without even the smell of smoke on them!

Notice that God didn’t deliver them from the fire; He delivered them through the fire. Maybe you are going through the fire today. Know that God is with you. He’s doing a work in you, and He’s displaying His glory through you. Remember, on the other side of the fire is a place of abundance and blessing! Stand strong and see the fulfillment of the promises He has in store for you!

Don’t tell people that you’re blessed based on your wealth or your possessions. Blessing is something which is eternal. The standard of our blessings is Jesus. You’re blessed because God created you and He laid down His life for you to be with Him. You’re blessed because God gave you another day to correct your path and experience His love. Your Faith and Joy in the Lord should be considered a blessing because not many can experience that. Don’t make a Mustang or a Mansion your standard of blessing but Messiah should be your standard.

No one's willing to suffer for their sins, but they're ready for Resurrection and Redemption. That is not how it works. You should surrender to God and be willing to carry your cross and follow Jesus (Luke 9:23). Only then you can witness the manifestation of Easter in your Life.
