I bet the golden order takes advantage of zane being a nindroid in the nastiest ways. I bet they injure/take him apart just to keep the other four in line

While yes, they do threaten the others with Z2's safety (particularly K4, as he's the most rebellious), they also play on the mental/emotional aspect of it.

Z2 is very insecure about his status as an android (Jay comes up with 'nin'droid much later) and he struggles with his humanity, whether or not he would have a soul considering that he's not a biological creature, (etc.)

Many a time his brothers have reassured him on this subject, but Z2 can never truly silence his self doubts.

The Golden Order have emotional latches like this on all of them as a means to help keep them in line.

After all, the four brothers are much more powerful than they may ever realize.

Experimented Au Update:

So about this au, there will be some changes to it, instead of the gang looking like the anthro I decided to let them look like real animals like before the experiment started and which they mutated to larger ones

Here's an example for Mothra and Goji's, It's just a warm up sketch I did uhh 3 months ago...

There will be some changes here since I barely know how to draw real reptiles (I didn't use ref for Goji's I only drew this using my mind💀dhhfhd) but yeah they are not yet final and the others haven't been done yet...

Experimented

Heatwave was taken by humans to the mainland after getting infected with the same virus from the meteor that had crashed down. He was questioned by the humans after he was cured, but he refused to answer their questions. No matter how much the humans shocked, threatened, and hurt him, he wouldn’t break. He wasn’t going to let humans know about his species. 3 days before he got a roommate, he shut himself into stasis.

A week after Heatwave disappeared, Cody went out to search for him, but this time he got captured. He was knocked unconscious and brought into the same room as Heatwave. After being pulled out of the room for the first time, Heatwave pulled himself from statis.

From then, Heatwave did everything he could to protect Cody without hurting the scientists. Even if it was rather difficult at times.
