"Born to be his Rukmini, Forced to be His Radha."
Reels with this Caption has been popping in my feed. Celebrities, actors, sportspersons, singers, idols, etc are main part of it. And it just makes me laugh aloud not because of the Caption, Caption is beautiful and it holds so much meaning but—
Do you really understand what was Rukmini and Radha to Krishna?
In my opinion, being Rukmini and being Radha is same. How, because Rukmini- in my opinion- symbolizes the union. The presence of Love in Union aka "Milan". Rukmini yearned for Krishna from her childhood. She fell in love with him when she first heard of him. Fought against anyone who told her that she can't marry Krishna. Her love, her devotion was so pure that Krishna had to bow in front of her wishes and marry her. (Its anothet thing Krishna accepts everyone who devotes to him— and Rukmini did that -with exception of her being Lakshmi).
Now Radha. In my opinion, Radha symbolizes Separation. The presence of Love in Separation aka "Viraha". Radha loved Krishna as well. She spent her whole childhood with Krishna, she loved him deeply, even when he had to leave Vrindavan forever and Radha knew she won't see her Shyām anymore. She loved him even after she was separated for him.
So anyone who think that "Born to be his Rukmini, forced to be his Radha", bro, you already are with Him. The person you became 'Radha' for. You may not be united with him or them or whoever and be their 'Rukmini' but remember that Rukmini and Radha are same. Milan (Union) and Viraha (Separation) does NOT define YOUR love which YOU hold for them.
So, if you were Born to be his Rukmini and Forced to be his Radha, be proud that you are his 'Rukmini' or 'Radha', or whoever you feel so.
Just remember, that how like for Krishna both Rukmini and Radha are important halves of his soul, YOU are also a part of your Love One's Soul, even if they don't know ❤️

The 100 Nightbloods vs. Genetics
So I had a discussion with a friend about how in the hell nightbloods works and I decided to actually post this fascinating thing.
Let´s break the whole night blood thing down. We know that nightblood was created in a lab on a spaceship and it was created as a serum from Becca, who injected herself. The serum was first developed to handle radiation. As a side effect it helps you hold the flame and not dying, which is nice I guess. According to the show Becca basically combined chemicals that make artificial and genetically modified her blood to become nightblood.
Now, this is scientifically kinda bullshit. If you put bit of a chemical that makes nightblood into your system but don´t give your system the way of making it on it´s own, it will run out of building blocks. So this must have been a sort of genetic modification. Something that permanently changed the way red blood cells are made. This is not that much of a stretch. The sickle cell disease is a mutation of one letter in your 3 billions of letters that make your code and it makes your red blood cells go from this to that:
Which is not super great but it gives you resistance to malaria, so yay. So in a similar way this change would make you resistant to radiation.
Moving on.
Genetic modification of an adult is something we cant really do right now, but hey, it´s the future! However, it would not make the trait hereditary. Your germ cells, aka the cells that will make your future babies are made long before you pop out of your mom. That´s because in your life you will acquire a lot of mutations and if you would pass those on your kids and that would get a lot of mutations during it´s life the life expectancy of humans would be close to zero in couple of generations.
That´s why if we genetically modify animals, we do it in their embryos. So...Becca probably experimented with genetically modifying human embryos. In case you did not hate her enough. So now we have a lovely nightblood with genetic modification that makes them super special. Yay us. This also means, that if we one day will get the Bellarke baby, it should not have night blood. But like Madi´s? Why not,
Next question is, how do you pass this fluffy gene on. Every gene you have, you have in two copies, one from mommy, one from daddy (oh sorry). Now it depends if you need both of the copies to be mutated to have your blood turn black and radiation free (this is called recessive) or if you need to have just one (that is called dominant, I know, kinky). Dominant traits are easier to get, for example for getting brown eyes, it´s enough to have one Brown version, the other can be blue or green but brown doest give a fuck. To have blue eyes you need to get the trait from both of your parents. So blue eyes are kinda rare.
And it seems like nightblood is a bit rare. So it seems we have a recessive gene going around. (to be honest, we would need a bit more information about families of nightbloods to be sure). Btw. this also means some of Becca´s embryo experiments fucked. Have fun with that image.
Ok, but how is it possible that there was quite a lot of nightbloods on Earth before the whole: Let´s blood this shit up over some petty bullshit, plot? To keep a trait, it needs to be beneficial. There needs to be some sort of selection pressure. On Earth, there was pressumably nice dose of radiation coming onto the population. At least enough to keep the Mountain men decently screwed. So there was a genetic pressure for this kind of resistance. Kids with low radiation protection die before having their own kids therefore not spreading their genes further. Even the grounders without nightblood were the ones that could stand radiation. I am more surprised there was not more of nightbloods. This could be because of the way the society works. Nightbloods simply do not procreate so much. Possibly because someone thought it was a good idea to make them fight each other to death as kids...maybe...
On the new planet, the radiation is not so bad (I mean, the planet probably didn´t have to deal with nuclear holocaust), the selection for nightbloods is low. Plus quite a large number of nightbloods are later possesed by one family. So unless we have some Lannister bullshit happening, they probably don´t have that many kids (except the parents pair).
To my knowledge, there were no nightbloods on the original spaceship. This probably means there was no nighblood (or at least no nightblood who was made as an embryo) on that ship.
That is all folks. If you have more questions, let me know. But to be fair, TV show science is usually pretty...wobbly...

DZFMHGBDM NO THATS ON ME IDK WHY I THOUGHT U WOULD HAVE INDEPT KNOWLGE ON TV TROPES
So lance traditionally means someone kinda direct opposite of the hero which wylan kinda fits, but to me it means more of someone who is a foil to the protagonist!

AAAH okay I know literary tropes but that does not extend to TV tropes 😂
Yeah I know foils! Kaz Wylan foils my beloved
Come on, buddy. I'll explain everything to you now.
