"Don't Go Down There" The abandoned house on Western Avenue in South Oklahoma City had a basement, a cellar, and a storage shed. All equally creepy in their own ways. I did not go down there. Grandma's House Revisited Just in case you might be wondering, no... This is not my grandmother's house. I named it this because this house reminded me of my grandmother's house. It was old, it was raggady, and it looked like a strong breeze could push it on over. Although abandoned, it still reminds me of warm memories of my life when my grandmother was still with us. This particular house was located on Southside, Oklahoma City. Deep south. Close to Moore and almost all the way out in Norman. The Doors had been kicked in, floors rotted through, roof collapsing inward, windows broken, over grown, and just every sign of neglect in the book. The absolutely stunning and gorgeous abandoned Willow School in southwest, Oklahoma. She was built in 1888 and was the the whole reason I took the trip to Mangum, Oklahoma in the first place. This picture pretty much sums up most of my southwest Oklahoma trip. Haven't even made it to Mangum, Oklahoma yet! Notable things so far: Not much going on in Tuttle, Newcastle, and Chickasha. Anadarko... Wow... That's a rough place Fort Cobb - population 25 (not really but seemed like it) Gas stations are few and far between after anadarko Ran into a well filed with rattle snakes. Most terrifying thing Ever.
