Greetings from Missouri! I just spent the past four days driving from Washington on my fall peregrinations so I can visit family. Since I was solo driving and it's over 2000 miles, I didn't get to do much sightseeing along the way. But I did get some pictures of this amazing view of Elk Mountain west of the Wagonhound Rest Stop in south central Wyoming. There was a storm system chasing me, which made for some incredibly dramatic skyscapes.

Should I ever be able to retire at a point where I'm still reasonably mobile, I would love to be able to slow down while traveling and poke around every interesting nook and cranny I come across along the way, rather than having to hustle because I need to cover 600-700 miles between waking and sleeping. There are so many nature areas, trails, and other points of interest that I just have to mentally bookmark in order to hopefully stop and explore in detail someday.
