My Take On Expo Latino And The Lack Of Africaness In It

Good morning to you all.It has been a while since I have written anything concrete on this blog but I will start things off by talking about Expo Latino and the implications I have regarding race.I have to ask where were most of the black performers since the majority of the population has at least a bit of African blood in them?I want to talk about Afro Latinos too because from what I saw yesterday I just saw a lack of acknowledgement or awareness of their African roots or any sort of trace back to Africa. Another words,it was like I felt that it was a bit whitewashed for me because of that.I didn't really see a whole lot of Afro Cubans,Afro Colombians and even Afro Brazilians in the mix.I saw a couple of Afro Cubans but they seemed to talk more to the white Cubans but hey,I guess that they only spoke Spanish and with that I sort of felt out of place due to the language barrier.I may really have to learn a whole lot of Spanish in order to keep up with these Latino particularly Afro Latinos if I am going to ever have any sense of belonging in this Latin culture. 

Speaking of which I just want to make a comment on Afro Latinos right about now and I will do a video about this later if I get the chance.Afro Latinos are not African and black and I don't consider them black and Africans since they have been brainwashed and whitewashed for so long by the Spanish due to slavery and integration with the whites and mestizos in Latin America.They are slaves just like the blacks in America and for them to try to get back to Africa would be very difficult for them.This includes Afro Brazilians and Afro Cubans who I think are just like the Afro Dominicans,Afro Ecuadorans,Afro Colombians and all the other blacks in Latin America.They are far too gone and lost from any connection in Africa and Afrocentrism.At least some African Americans know who they are and where they come from.So I give them points for that.I also would give points to the black people in the Caribbean who at least have a sense of who they are and where they came from.But I cannot say that same thing about Afro Latinos since they don't want to have any sort of connection with Africans in Africa because of integration even though they are being treated like second class citizens due to racial discrimination and white supremacy.In Cuba and Colombia both groups of blacks don't want to know any part about Africa and that's pretty sad to me and also hurtful too.

I was going to do a book review but I just don't have the time to do it right and to upload it on YouTube.So I will try and get it into a phone video rather than doing it on a webcam.But I just want to get this quick stuff out before heading off to work.I was just thinking about this Latin festival they are going to have tomorrow here in Calgary at Princess Island Park and I am debating on whether or not I should go to it.I am also debating on which shirt to wear since I still have my Colombia shirt which I haven't worn in years since I went two years ago.I am also indecisive as to which camera to take because I have a regular camera while at the same time I have a phone which also has a camera that takes pictures too and the pictures are just as sharp as the cameras.So I am sort of lost for words or some sort.Of course I shouldn't think about the event too much since I will probably be very busy since my sister is coming over tomorrow to do something that has to do with my sister's visit on Friday. So I am sort of lost right now as to which course of action to take with regards to Expo Latino. 

But anyway speaking of Latin,I saw this nice looking young woman who came in and bought a lottery ticket and I have to say that she has an ass that I cannot even describe.I think that she is that man's daughter.The man I am talking about is the one who always comes in to buy gas and a lottery ticket at the same time.I would say that is his daughter.I couldn't keep my eyes off of her but I did since her father probably wouldn't approve of me taking her out.I don't know what is but there are some Latinos especially men that are pretty racist or have some racist attitudes towards blacks even though the countries they are from have very large black populations and have at least some big black population.Of course let's not forget too that they themselves get screwed over when it comes to employment and/or economics because they get discriminated against just as black people in North America.So I just don't get the racism which occurs within them.

Well,I must be going now since my time has expired with regards to writing this.
