Page 3. ---- Four County Men Given Remands in Muskrat Pelts Cases ---- Pleading guilty to exporting raw muskrat pelts without licenses or paying royalties, four Essex County men remanded this afternoon in Windsor Police Court until a week from tomorrow for sentence.
A fifth person. Mrs. M. Bradley, of Pain Court, confronted with two similar charges, has still to be tried.
Those admitting guilt this afternoon were Remi Moore, Amherstburg; Edmond Fournier. Stoney Point: Seraphim Drouillard, Tecumseh. and George Drouillard. Riverside. Each of the Droulllards faced four charges, Fournier three and Moore two.
Nearly 2.000 muskrat pelts and odd mink and otter skins were involved in the offences, ranging from December 1 last year to March 1. The charges were laid by A. C. Jensen, county game warden.
