Universal Orlando: ¿Qué es el Express Pass?

Visitar Universal Orlando es una de las cosas más divertidas que se pueden hacer en la vida, especialmente si la experiencia se comparte con la familia: los niños le dan ese toque de felicidad absoluta. Sin embargo, tratar de subir a las distintas atracciones puede convertirse en una experiencia estresante, por lo que se recomienda tener el Universal Express Pass.

¿Qué es el Universal Express Pass?

Es un pase especial que permite saltar las filas de espera de las atracciones para que en un solo día se pueda disfrutar de la mayor parte de las que componen los parques de Universal Orlando. Existen dos clases:

Universal Express: sólo permite saltarse la fila una vez al día por cada atracción escogida; es decir, ese día no se puede repetir el proceso en una misma atracción, sino que se deben visitar todas las posibles.

Universal Express Unlimited: con este sí se pueden saltar las veces que se desee las filas en cualquiera de las atracciones disponibles. Es el modelo más adecuado si la estadía abarca varios días.

Ambos se pueden adquirir en la entrada de los dos parques de atracciones, Universal Studios y Universal’s Islands of Adventure. Se recomienda hacerlo con anticipación para evitar cualquier inconveniente, ya que tienen disponibilidad limitada. Para aquellas familias y visitantes con estadías en ciertos hoteles del complejo el pase viene incluido en el paquete.

Para Universal’s Volcano Bay existe una opción exclusiva, el Volcano Bay Express, que funciona de manera similar al Universal Express.

¿Cómo funcionan los pases?

Su funcionamiento es muy sencillo, en muchas ocasiones lo difícil es conseguirlos por su disponibilidad limitada. Sólo debe presentar cualquiera de los dos modelos en las entradas de cada atracción, teniendo en mente la posibilidad de encontrar un pequeña fila de otros visitantes con esta herramienta, aunque este tiempo de espera siempre será menor que la fila normal.

En Universal’s Volcano Bay tiene que presentar el pase en las atracciones que participan del mismo, y con eso se puede evitar la Virtual Line, pasando directo a la entrada de cada una de las atracciones.

Atracciones que no gozan del Universal Express Pass

Aunque se puede disfrutar de esta herramienta en gran parte de las atracciones ofrecidas entre Universal Studios y Universal’s Islands of Adventure, existen algunas en las que no está permitido:

Fievel S Playland.

Pteranodon Flyers.

Kala & Tai Nui Serpentine Body Slides.

Ko’okiri Body Plunge.

Las demás están sujetas a cambios, así que es mejor comprobar el día de la visita cuáles aceptan Universal Express Pass. ¡Disfrute de unas vacaciones inolvidables!

7:30am: Morning Fitness at Heather Garden in Fort Tryon Park

I wake up at 6am, because it’s quite far from my place. But I took a wrong train toward different direction, so I was late for the fitness of 7:30 in Fort Tryon Park. I tried to find people, but I couldn’t. So I did fitness myself in the Heather Garden. At first, I could not understand why I should come here in the early morning, but when I got there I realized that it’s worthy enough. The garden was so~ beautiful like Hockney’s painting.

8:45am: Breakfast ‘Green Juice Cafe’

I was so hungry (I am a ‘must-have-breakfast’ person). But the next place ‘Dichter pharmacy’ where I was supposed to have breakfast opened 30min later;;; So I found a cozy cafe, ‘Green Juice Cafe’ I had a toasty basil pesto sandwich with spinach. It’s very fresh and tasty!

9:30am: Dichter Pharmacy

A Japanese TV show filming was planed at this pharmacy in this afternoon. When I arrived there the pharmacist asked me if I came earlier by the chance of the TV show recording. He seemed to be very exited for it, with the saying “Something’s really happened here”. (He considered of the SNS stream) The manager of the cafe in the pharmacy was day off today, and a new part timer was there instead of him. Actually she was a new comer today, did not know well how to do. The pharmacist let her know everything about the recipe whenever they had orders. I ordered ‘Soda fountain’ with chocolate flavor. It was not the real choice by myself, I just followed the direction of the apexart schedule. (Usually, for day drink, I do not like non-healthy drink;;;) Actually the soda siphon didn’t working because celsius(?) ran out, so they just made it with milk, chocolate syrup and soda drink(from a can). The drink was the total of bad things. I just tried a draft of it, but soon gave up to drink it all. The pharmacist asked me if I do not like it because it is not sweet enough. (It’s not the problem, if it’s sweeter, it’s worse.) I couldn’t say that I do not just like it. I almost left them all and I felt very sorry to him. By the way, why we can have the harmful drink in the Pharmacy? (and… Inwood again?!?)

11:30 am: Albertine Books

12:45pm: Empire State Building

Blue sky, sunshine, and refreshing breeze! It’s a perfect day for observing in the Empire State Building. I could understand why here is the landmark of NYC. It’s like a real life edition of Google map. Above all, I think I know how big is this city. It’s literally amazing!!! (With the express card from tom, I can easily get the upstairs without any wait time. I really appreciate him for this.)

2:30pm: Snack time

4:00pm: Pho @ OBAO

First pho in NYC. (First time with yelp.) It’s not so much great. I think that even a franchise pho restaurant ‘Emoi’ in Korea is much better than this. (I will try another pho restaurant later!)

6:00pm: Committee in Manhattan Community Board 1

First, the building was astonishing. Normally when I went some of those places abroad, most of time I was looking at them outside. It’s a very special experience to observe the committee in the city. They discussed the resilience of parks and waterfronts in NYC. (That was an extension of the last meeting.) Previous meeting record: https://www1.nyc.gov/site/manhattancb1/meetings/committee-agendas.page The debate including argument and reconciliation were endless on the agenda in the open conference. Although I could not mention about anything, the committee gave the chance of utterance to people attended. I’ve given the matter a lot of thought. I may have to attend one of city conferences in Seoul.
