Sooo, I'm taking an art class this semester.... to do this we need expressive lines, and we worked on values. This is my portfolio so far, and I am so lazy. I really don't want to finish these lines.

I love drawing, but not when I'm forced to. Trust me when I say that this class in extremely helpful, and a great opportunity, I love it so far.

And when I go to art 2 I have a choice of 3d art stuff, or painting and design

Of I'm gonna do design, I'm excited.

synesthesia/expressive lines project

assignment prompt: 

listen to some music and pick a song or musical piece WITHOUT WORDS that will act as the inspiration for an expressive line drawing. work directly on 14" x 17" bristol vellum. the drawing you make must be composed entirely of monochromatic lines of varying qualities and will represent the sound of your musical selection in visual form. please realize that this will be a creative challenge as we rarely experience or focus on the cross-sensory phenomena called synesthesia.
