     She looks at the dresses in front of distractedly,     half of her focus on them & half on the day that     will soon arrive. She  can't  recall  the  last  time     she wore something so beautiful. She  reaches     out with her hand, tempted to touch the one that     is   remarkably   gorgeous.  At  the  last  second,     however, she withdraws her hand, not wanting     to ruin the beauty of the dress.

                                         Her gaze moves to the next one; it's not quite as                                         lovely as the  previous  one.  She  contemplates                                         touching, almost  reaching  a  conclusion,  when                                         she's   interrupted   by  someone  speaking.  She                                         turns & looks at the  younger  girl  for  a  moment                                         before a nervous smile graces  her  lips.  It  goes                                         beyond her comprehension  as  to  why  Katniss                                         is thanking her,  especially  when  she's  the  one                                         who  volunteered  to  come to  Twelve  to  find  a                                         wedding dress for her.  If  anyone  should  thank                                         someone, it's Annie with no doubt.

The so-called victor leaned back in her seat. She scanned  the  crowd for  something,  anything  to relieve her boredom. It seemed to take  eons  for her to  find  someone  who  would  be  worth  her time. When she finally spotted the  her,  Johanna couldn't help herself.

"Are you okay?"

Disbelief.

That was what Annie held within her the very second that she heard those three words come from the girl on fire's mouth. Had she truly asked such a question? And at such a time that it would be obvious to any individual that no, Annie Cresta Odair was not okay and it was very likely that she would never feel quite the same again.

The Capitol had taken many things from her -- Adrian, her brother whom was lost in her own Games and the rest of her family whom President Snow had made an example of executing when she refused to cooperate with activities in the Capitol. Not to mention the very place that she had called home for her entire life...but on this very day, Katniss Everdeen of District 12 had the nerve to ask her if she was 'okay' knowing very well that the only person, place or thing that had ever and could ever make her former life feel 'okay' again had been ripped from her during the rebellions more recent endeavors.

Her husband, Finnick Odair.

Ignoring the anger that seemed to bubble up inside of her, she chose to let the deep sorrow overwhelm her instead; although she didn't let it show on the outside -- they had seen enough of her tantrums when the rebels had returned with the news of causalities. The brunette swimmer canted her head away from whom others called the 'mockingjay' and chose to leave her question unanswered.

No, she wasn't okay. And no, she didn't and wouldn't ever forgive Katniss for leaving Finnick behind.

Stripping off her clothes had been the easy part, the look on ‘The Mockingjay’s’ face had been better than she could of anticipated. Priceless in fact. It didn’t matter that Peeta and Haymitch were also present. Her goal to make Katniss uncomfortable seemed to have been more than achieved. Although, she couldn’t deny that attraction she had to Katniss as she stood there, her eyes remained fixed on Katniss as she tried to look everywhere but at Jo.Jo heard the ding of the elevator, announcing it  had reached her floor, turning to leave as the door as it opened. ” — This was fun we should do it again sometime.” She smirked and exited the elevator, the comment had been solely for Katniss’ benefit. Although as she let her hand slide around the elevator door she caught sight of her wrist, just in time to watch it flick to 00:00:00. " — Shit!" She muttered under her breath, turning on her heal and heading back for the doors, the slid shut just before she could reach them. So this was it? Katniss was her one…
