10/10 would not recommend debating on your birthday. like objectively, I did fine. good, even. but like, the stress and the fakery and the negativity just really stood out over everything else. don’t get me wrong, I LOVE debate with ALL of my heart, but sometimes, when you expect good, that’s when you see how actually awful it can be. anyways, I know no one is reading this, but just wanted to put this out there. Maybe I’ll write an anonymous op-ed. 

p.s how tf am I still suffering from the debate hangover, it’s been more than a day??
