What happened on thursday at the expo center for Speech & Debate Nationals was TERRIFYING. Like genuinely one minute me and my team was getting up to leave early, the next I was running to the nearest office building. I will NEVER forgive Jayden for what he did. Your glory days might've been in speech and debate, but that does not mean you can come back FIVE YEARS LATER and traumatize three thousand teenagers??? To the humor girl yelling run, and everyone standing up rushing their way to the exits to the point of trampling others, to hiding in the office building kids were crying, hyperventilating, and calling their parents. I will never forgive him for what he did. And to NSDA? You cannot expect a girl who was RIGHT NEXT TO THE THREAT to preform a HUMOROUS piece after that?? And also, if EVEN WITH A CELEBRITY there, your security was that low?? Fix it.

Thoughts and prayers to anyone who was at NSDA nationals this year.
