I have several items that need to be charged using a USB port and I didn't want to have to turn on my computer just to charge them. This power strip is exactly what I needed to do the job. It's compact size makes it easy to store when not in use.

The shape of this surge protector is well designed. It has 4 AC ports on each side and 3 USB ports (One 1A and two 2.4A) on top of it. Not only eight ports is a lot more than the traditional 6 port outlet but you can arrange your devices connections in order. The bottom of this power outlet is finished with 2 nonskid pads in order for it not to skid when it is unintentionally pulled. To make a full use of it I plan on placing all my cables on the left side and leave the right side for my wife’s electronics and I will connect my daughter’s tablet thru one of the 3 USB charging port located on top of the device.
