Condoms – More Than Just Birth Control

Whether you belong to the LGBTIQ+ community, or you've had a vasectomy or tubal ligation, it's important to consider using a barrier method, such as the External Condom or the Internal Condom, which are the only options available to avoid contagions.

What is your opinion on female condoms? Are the as effective as male condoms? Do they prevent against STDs like male condoms do? Are they more or less expensive? Also, are there better terms we can use instead of "female" and "male?" Thanks!

Internal condoms are awesome!  Also called “female” condoms because they are most often (BUT NOT ONLY) used by cis women, they’re less tight, non-latex condoms that are inserted into the vagina or anus and held in place during penetrative sex acts of any kind.

They are just as effective at preventing sexually transmitted infections as external condoms as long as they’re used correctly.

Pros and Cons? I’m going to have to go with preference.  But let’s talk it through a bit.

Is it dangerous to use both a female condom and a regular condom at the same time? Like will they cause each other to tare?

yes, double bagging with either two external condoms or one external and one internal isn't good.
