Stable companion Extra Zero and Damian Lane (black cap) finished second by a nose, Happy Trails and Damien Oliver third. British raider and three time Melbourne Cup runner-up Red Cadeaux finished fifth under Hugh Bowman (red cap, right), 2014 Melbourne Cup winner Protectionist finished eighth with Craig Williams in the saddle.
