Crocus, Begonia, Hyacinth
crocus: what makes you happy?
Hmm, it’ll probably sound like a cheap shot, but I think I’m happiest when I’m in The Little Penguin, seeing people’s faces brightening at the start of Magic Hours. To think that I can put those smiles and that wide-eyed wonder in someone’s eyes, to make adults feel like kids again on their first time in Disneyland, that makes me really happy!
Of course, I’m also happy when I can spend time with my friends, like you, or Amber or Eunji. Or when Jongkook hyung cracks a smile at my jokes! But that’s more like a miracle, I think.
begonia: what are you wary of?
People who think they can change the way things work. They’re just set up for disappointment. What can a handful of us do against the entire government of South Korea? Is it even that important? Life on the island isn’t so bad, so I would rather those rebellion groups don’t stir up trouble. I don’t mind Chrysantheum, they’re mostly nice and just do propo, which is just fine, but effort spend in vain, I’m afraid. (Sorry, Hayi, but you knew that already, of course. It’s sweet you’re trying to heal people though.)
Also. Drunk customers trying to destroy my tables by dancing on them. Please don’t? I have a floor that’s perfectly dance-able, and I believe you’re a killer during karaoke, please don’t prove it to me. (Unless it is karaoke night, of course.)
hyacinth: what makes you get jealous?
Jealous? Me? I – pff, what are you even talking about? Who do I even have to be jealous about? Jongkook hy–oppa? Don’t be ridiculous, I don’t care. He can talk to whoever he wants to. And those pretty girls can just continue to stand there and smile and giggle all they want, it’s not jealousy, it’s pity. Do they think he cares? Ha! Let me tell you something about that! He doesn’t care, so what does it matter? And touching his arms like that will just annoy him further, ugh. Amateurs.
