do those intending to apply with loners need to have an idea of which clan they want to join or no?

You don’t need to have a clan chosen right away. We do have a question on our application sheet asking which clan you are interested in, but that is just to gauge interest. If you don’t have a strong preference either way, that is totally okay!

You/your characters will be choosing which clan to join based on in RP events and interactions. If you choose TimberClan on the application and then decide during RP that your character would be more likely to join MountainClan, that’s totally fine with us.
