The moment she set foot onto the land, the atmosphere shifted. Flowers bloomed as she passed by and she was met by a guard patrolling his sector for the kingdom. Zomnia lifted her hooded eyes to meet his gaze and he was stopped in his tracks by the look in her eyes. He was trapped in her spell. Zomnia instructed him to take her to his king and he did dutifully, completely enamored by her unmatchable beauty. As the wind blew while they walked, her hair fell behind her, increasing in length, tempting all those they passed and those tempted began to follow. The door to the palace opened before her as the king himself came to greet her.
Their hands met and the king too had fallen prisoner to her beauty, victim to her charm. Within moments the kingdom opened up before her, a room made up for her, the throne passed to her, dressmakers begged for her attention and suitors flocked to her. Zomnia had conquered yet another kingdom without batting an eyelash.
Painters tried to capture her beauty and were sentenced to death when they failed to, for her essence could not be depicted by mortal paints. Zomnia herself was a manifestation of the gods, and she is just as dangerous as she is beautiful.
Within the week, the kingdom in the east heard rumors of Zomnia and requested that they be permitted to witness her extravagance. Zomnia bequeathed, and the royal court appeared by sundown the following day.
Outraged that he could never have Zomnia, the eastern King declared war on the western kingdom, slaughtering everyone that attempted to separate him and the woman whom he desired the most. The war waged for days, and Zomnia didn’t stir; she sat upon her golden throne and watched the people fight for her, a look of amusement playing at the corners of her full rosey lips. There were two standing at the end, the king of each land, and Zomnia finally rose.
To the death, she instructed, throwing each of them swords. She sat back down and watched the two kings kill each other and then smiled. Zomnia walked swiftly and purposefully from the kingdom into the sunset, setting her sights on the kingdom in the north as her next conquest.
Natasha Morgan has so eloquently decided to name the newest eyewear in The Royals collection after Zomnia. The dark lenses shroud the wearer in the same aura of mystery Zomnia came from. The intense central representation of diamonds capture the beauty, and the two formations on either side show how no matter what, there are always to people on either side of her begging for her attention. These glasses are a manifestation of Zomnia herself, blessing the wearer with the unmatched exquisiteness Zomnia possesses.
