This is going to sound extremely sad buuuut...
I believe in what the American Constitution should stand for more than what God requires me to do in order to gain "eternal happiness".
"If I don't believe, I go to Hell and receive eternal damnation and torture".
Seems like a crock of shit to me.
You haven't necessarily made my life that great so far, so why should I believe that you exist? Why should I have to believe that someone who's made some people's lives a living Hell (those who didn't deserve it, mind you), exists and is better than everyone else because he "apparently" created us?
You tellin' me that if my father physically abused me I'd have to worship him because he created me?
I'm not even getting into this whole religious bullshit, but I'm not gonna worship someone who won't even answer some of my smaller wishes that are, sometimes, selfless.
Nor to someone who won't answer me, period.
And if you do exist, and "created" me with an opinion, don't be mad when it isn't to your liking.
