Grace Zabriskie (1990s, pictured is from Wild at Heart) - Marceline Jones

Best known as Sarah Palmer from Twin Peaks, we already know her in a role as someone who is an abused wife of a domineering husband (to say the least). Had she been a bit younger or had Twin Peaks come out when Jonestown movies were being made, she would be the obvious choice. Grace was in her 50s in this picture and was born in 1941 (and coincidentally nearly 10 years to the day younger than Jim), so she probably vividly remembers the tragedy.

I seriously wish she was cast for something like Guyana Tragedy!

So I’m re-watching the Fortune-Teller episode of Avatar and I used to think “Wow, these villagers are ridiculous. The volcano is clearly about to erupt but they’re ignoring all warnings and evidence from Aang and Katara and Sokka just because Aunt Wu said it won’t destroy the village.” And now I look around and there are people refusing to wear masks and social distance despite advice from actual scientists because certain figures of authority say it’s not a problem and I’m like
