Whee!  Just finished a 2-hour phone conversation!  An actual honest-to-gosh voice chat with a human being!  So I have a new friend now.  New friends are the best.  Yay!

How Extroverts Work

I made plans to meet a friend for coffee. We 'talk' on Facebook or if we happen to run into each other but never hang out. So we decided to change that and when we were making plans I chose tonight because I worked 12 1/2 hours yesterday and had a very early day today and I knew I would be more than ready for some fun interaction and the energy boost. 

We planned to meet for a couple hours and then he was meeting another friend....but then his friend just kind of joined us. And four hours later we were still having funny and intellectual conversations and I got to know a new rad person and that was EXACTLY what I needed to recharge and remotivate myself. 

And that's what it's like to be an extrovert.
