im so fucking tired of myself
I prefer my default dragonborn Dark Urge but people hating on other Durge's, especially female Durge's are so annoying. Especially those using arguments that default Dark Urge is male dragonborn because... is he? or should I say are they?
If you are so fixated on what is canon in the text, you will then have to accept that both Gortash and Orin are misgendering your default Durge as in the game no matter what gender you chose, no matter what is supposed to be the correct canon option Durge is referred to as "they".
I'm not dead!! It took some time but I'm done with my A school! Sorry for not posting in so long. School was incredibly difficult and getting settled into my first duty station took some time. Good news is that I have some WIPs that are in the works and a few short peices I can post sooner rather than later. Thank you all for being patient! Cant wait to post and be active in the community again :)
What if fireheart was a girl like in the original concept and what if she did get with greystripe and they did have kids and I fucking am crying
One thing I’m not too fond of in fanfiction is when people give Ezra or Kanan additional grand legacies. Rebels, to my mind, already did away with the more low-key heritages by season 3 - everyone’s a scion of a some important person.
Thing about this is, to my mind, it worsens the odious Great Man trope - the idea that some people are just better, and can change the world far more than others. By giving everyone famous relatives, it almost implies heroism has a genetic element to it - which can get uncomfortably close to endorsing authoritarianism, if handled poorly.
Besides, Kanan and Ezra are already mythical in scope thanks to the very nature of “a forgotten monk of an ancient order rediscovers himself by taking on an apprentice,”. Besides, Ezra’s already got the legacy of his parents to shoulder!
i wish I could watch people find out im dead. see their face when they think about me gone, watch how they behave with the knowledge when they're not being seen. i want to know if i was truly as abysmally alone as i feel. if any of them ever thought of me as i did of them.
would shipping two starbucks coffee cups be selfcest? because it still has the starbucks lady on it? or is it different bc they're two different ordrers? or would the characters be based off of the order in the cups?
