Eye-gasm

Yesterday I had an eye-gasm. I think he was around 23 years old. He had long dark sexgod hair, a Led Zeppelin shirt and leather biker jacket. Oh ànd a pretty face. :D We had eye contact and he smiled at me, and then…. He went the other way. Guys like this are one of the reasons I love my local ‘Irish’ pub, there are always a lot of students. And they have Magners. :)

The cinematography in War Horse is the best I've seen in years.

Some of my favorite moments:

The cavalry mount from the tall grass.

The cuts between the charging British cavalry and the German machine guns with the shots of the riderless horses continuing their charges.

The harsh transition from Captain Nicholl's fearful face to the riderless Joey.

The discretion shot with the turning windmill at the execution of the two deserters.

The rushing gas fumes in the trench and the goodbye in the whispered "Albie" as a fade away.

The running scene from Topthorn's fall to the barbed wire.

The entire scene between the British soldier and the German soldier in cutting Joey free.

Goodness, this film was beautiful.
