After the effort put in with training with this Hyrules Knights Vio has been given strawberries. Much like the tests before it seems Sheik has figured out despite the communication barrier, Vio will do a lot if he's given his favorite fruit.

And despite his misgivings and dislike of the eyebat creature. He shares the fruit with it.... Maybe Vio can warm up to it in time.

Vio having been getting rest for once sits up in sleepy confusion at the words. Wedding ring on a thread around his neck.

" huh...? " Rubbing his eyes sits up hearing a cracking sound. Turning confused he squints at the direction of the sound. " Eh?"

The egg has hatched, a fluffy eyebat. Much like the one that had followed Vio around, before it's unfortunate and accidental end at Octavo's hand.

Vio's processing what he's seeing through his still half asleep state. "What is ... "

Once it clicks what he's looking at Vio screams.

I wanna treat that eyebat thing like a chew toy, and I’m not sure if it’s because of cuteness aggression or because I don’t like it

Vio's been sent outside today and is training with the knights. Though somehow even with him being out of shape he is somehow ahead of them in everything; except the two things he should be. Sword play and archery.

Making sure to keep his breath even as he jogs Vio ignores the sweet little creature tailing behind him.

" For all I care you could have the thing. I've never cared for the eyebats, even on a good day."

That eyebat is so floofy and cute but it gives off bad vibes and I don’t know if I want to give it kisses or throw it out a window

Vio having just given up his attempts to be rid of it for now sighs heavily. The creature happily nestled in his hair

"Throwing it out a window does not work"

How do you feel?

After too many incidents with the training Vio's been put on bed rest and is being monitored to figure out what is going on. He seems frustrated messing with the blanket quietly, hesitating to speak.

Taking a breath he grips at the blanket. " ...I "

" I miss the others a lot, even Green. It..." He lets go of the blanket with a huff looking at his hands the frustration coming back even stronger. " It feels wrong for my body to be so far from the others. "

Nearby seems to be a medicinal potion along with the eyebat creature which seems to not bother Vio as much anymore.

Psst, hey, Teifei, if Vio's doing something he shouldn't, just go get Sheik or Impa to stop him, okay? They might even give you little treats for helping!

Every mirror is in used condition

Vio is spending another day outside with the knights. Seems Sheik isn't going to let him wallow indoors and is trying to give him distractions.

Kneeling by the river he goes to wash his face. " That is .. both correct and incorrect. Mirrors when looked at always have something... Unless it's another mirror. Then it makes a void "

After a moment he makes a noise blood coming from his mouth.

Leading to one of the knights calling out startled

If I may, Teifei is a pretty name

Vio holds up Teifei with an oddly fond smile. Disregarding the fact the creature seems extra poofy today.

" Well ... Teifei is the name I ended up going with for it. It's a little funny how attached to it I am now. Given my fear at first. But honestly Teifei has been a weird comfort. Something I know, in this mess of stuff I don't"

Seems despite his not so great past with the eyebat species as a whole. Having one around has brought a sense of relief to Vio.
