An angel who wasn't made for a purpose and so doesn't know what to do. He tries to get in on other gigs but there's always someone else doing it already and they're all really derisive of him. But finally he finds his purpose, maybe as the saint of losers or the Saint of villains or something weird. Or the Saint of cotton candy. "Which goes to show, if at first you don't succeed, buy some candy."
A Phantom of the Opera-based story, sort of like a play within a play (within a play?) Could go two ways:
1. Some sort of deranged writer/director decides to get back/get with the girl so stages a POTO remake (esp. if the girl is in love with the guy playing Raoul or smth). The cast members note eerie similarities between writer/director and the Phantom (e.g. the writer/director keeps calling Christine his angel of music even OOC). In the climax it is discovered that the chap playing Pugati (?) is actually killed and the Phantom has been replaced by the writer/director, who’s actually taken Christine down to the gallows, and the cast must save her. Soo basically a retelling of POTO but this time it’s real.
2. More of an idea that could fit into another plot rather than an idea on its own. A bunch of terrorists decide to stage their own remake of POTO and make it exclusive so that the rich people all flock to it. But when the doors ‘close’ (during the final performance to make sure he can’t escape) they are actually closed, and then all the cast members turn out to be terrorists and they hold everyone hostage.
Character idea, based off John Drewe. Brilliant conman, absolutely charismatic, great at tricking people. Fantastically intelligent. Slips his way into anything and everything. Everyone believes him. Meticulous planning, stealing, falsification of documents. Yet it’s not about the money: it’s more of the thrill in getting away with it. The thrill in being able to outsmart the smartest experts that they have. That he can walk around in an art gallery talking to the very people he’s stealing from. Wants to show off, wants to be known as smart and amazing and stuff. But he’s got a bad temper and he’s a little mad (threatening to kill people?)
