Up 1 with hammer coming home - I thought my Icevengers had the #therecanonlybeone game vs Team Kim in the bag but they gave up a steal in the 8th. It took an extra end but they got the W in the end so that’s all that matters, though it would’ve been nicer if they had been the featured game and if my Swedes didn’t keep trying to kill me with close games, but they got the job done and can hopefully rest up for the big game tonight. Continuing to send #GSOC game winning vibes to 🐐 @niklasedin @oggelit @rasmuswrana & @cr1ppa this whole entire week especially tonight since they’ll be facing off against Spidey (I don’t care if he’s w/o Grant & counting losses, you never count Spidey out). My #Icevengers are in Canada competing at the #GSOC this week. #worldsbestlead @cr1ppa continues to be sidelined due to #eyegroin (swipe for context tweets) & my heart just breaks for him since he’s dealing with pain & the rest of @teamniklasedin who have to play as a trio. Seems my Swedes did fine “Gushueing” it against Team Retornaz yesterday. I LOVE how happy @oggelit looks like in this pic w/ 🐐 @niklasedin & @rasmuswrana - it’s quite a contrast from the photo Jonathan Brazeau first posted of Crippa on the bench. Reminder: I’m not Team Edin’s publicist - they don’t pay me to promote them nor am I a curling insider who’s privy to any special/secret info, and if I do happen to have access, I’m unlikely to have liberty to broadcast it. I just really love this team and try to follow along their journey as best as I could. * * ICYMI: 2 Girls & A Game’s latest podcast did cover some of the Worlds final. While they both picked Canada to win over Sweden in the previous podcast episode, the ladies did have nice things to say about Swedes’ resilience & adaptability (*cough less complaining about ice conditions). The girls also praised 🐐 ‘s sportsmanship at about 25 minutes in & called him a sweetheart - citing the sincere nod he gives his opponents when he shakes hands. * * LOL apparently the bronze medal game would’ve been way more entertaining had the Young Bucks taken their shirts off 😂 I mean 1K Package Man has been on the Curling Calendar multiple times so that sounds like a solid plan. Just a reminder, the Girls REALLY want Oskar in the next Curling Cares calendar 😜 I’d love to see all my Swedes & Germans in that calendar so I hope they consider it (it’s for charity!).
